AFNO Gala
The Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orleans is honored to have the presence of His Excellency Pierre Vimont, Ambassador of France to the United States, to the Gala celebrating the French Language School’s 25th year.Started in 1984 in the offices of the French Consulate by a group of local Francophiles, the AFNO offers classes by native teachers for all levels, from beginner to business French.Mr. Pierre Vimont has been to New Orleans numerous times. Expat and writer Tom Sancton will bring his New Orleans Jazz Orchestra to Antoine’s Restaurant and perform during the evening.
