So you’ve decided you’d like to learn French. You’re an absolute beginner, or you already took the introduction class? Beginner Step 1 is the course for you! Throughout this ten-week light course, you will discover the beauty of the French language, and cover the basics, such as introducing yourself and others (Bonjour, je m’appelle Jean), spelling and counting (un, deux, trois…), and general greetings and politeness (Salut, s’il vous plait, merci beaucoup). You’ll also learn how to ask a question, how to communicate, and explain why you are learning French.

15 hours to complete the second half of the sublevel in 10 weeks | 1.5 hours a week | 1 class of 1.5 hours

ONSITE, taught by Valérie Duval

This course is designed for students who have completed part 1 of the A1.1 sublevel, or who have been assessed prior to enrolling.

**Please note that due to the Uptown parade schedule, in-person classes will not be held at AFNO from Wednesday February 7-Tuesday February 13.**
