The Team Behind the Bonjour.

Alan Nobili Executive Director

Alan studied at ESCP Business School in Paris and worked in Réunion Island, Tahiti, England, and Germany. He led the Alliance Française du Manitoba from 2015 to 2019, then joined the executive board of the Alliance Française de Paris. Passionate about arts, history, and music, he moved with his family and his vinyl collection to New Orleans. In 2026, he was honored to receive the Key to the city.

Sarah Mahoney School Coordinator

Sarah has lived in France for six years and teaches beginners and children at the Alliance Française. She guides students to the right service—group courses, private lessons, exams—and brings warmth and creativity to every interaction. Passionate about singing, she also leads workshops in schools, making learning joyful and often musical.

Allison Ganapamo Operation Support

Raised in both France and Louisiana, Allison brings a bicultural perspective to the Alliance Française. A U.S. Air Force veteran with a background in aviation and education, she supports daily operations, programs, events,and organizational projects. As a French teacher at the Alliance Française, she enjoys sharing the language that has shaped her life.




Laura Nakache  Project Support

French native speaker, Laura believes that language learning is a journey best experienced through discovery and culture. Combining her teaching background with a passion for  literature, travel and project management, she creates dynamic educational programs and immersion stays. Her goal is to inspire students to connect meaningfully with the language while exploring unique culture landscapes.

Raymond Price Cultural Project & Community Outreach

Raymond is a Loyola graduate, passionate about Louisiana French culture, who began his career as a multimedia journalist and anchor before teaching French and English. His background in media, communication, and cultural outreach shapes his work at the Alliance Française, where he coordinates events and shares his expertise. 
Sandrine Vigouroux Accountant

For fifteen years, our community has had the privilege of relying on the expertise and kindness of our longtime accountant, who also shares her passion for language as a dedicated French as a second language teacher.

Britt Hodanger Certified Guide

Britt is a certified guide and a passionate educator dedicated to sharing Louisiana’s rich Francophone heritage. Britt’s dynamic approach blends language learning with cultural exploration, making each experience both meaningful and unforgettable.

Laurence Lechat Teaching Support

Laurence Lechat, from Saumur, France, holds a French as a Foreign Language degree from the University of Angers. She has taught at Audubon Charter School since 2006. With 15 years’ experience teaching in several countries, she shares her language and culture and mentors Du Ganzhi from Fujian, China.
