Type


Full Course

Complete a full course level (i.e. A1.1) in 10 weeks (25 to 30 hours of learning). For more information about levels, we follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for language acquisition progression.


Partial 

Lacking time? Choose this lighter option! Complete half of a level in 10 weeks (15 hours); or, a quarter of a level in 5 weeks (7.5 hours). For more information about levels, we follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) for language acquisition progression.


Specialized 

Courses focused on a theme (cinema, literature, etc.) or on special skills (writing, conversation, etc.) for B1 Independent and B2 Advanced levels. Immerse yourself in a vibrant and dynamic environment where French language and culture come to life.


Conversation  

Engage in lively conversations, boost your language skills, and embrace the flexibility of our punch card system at Alliance Française New Orleans. Our weekly French conversation classes cater to intermediate and advanced learners, offering punch cards of 10, 20, or Unlimited class options to fit your busy schedule

You're not a beginner in French any more; you've got the basics sorted and you're ready to keep making progress! In this course, you will learn the vocabulary and structures required to talk about topics such as holidays, the weather, feelings and emotions, discuss food, tastes and grocery shopping, comparing a past situation with the present, and describing and buying clothes.
