Rendez Vous de l'Alliance--Amy Kirk Duvoisin

Our monthly Meet and Greet series, spotlighting francophone or Francophile academics, artists, community organizers, and activists is now online, and known as "Les Rendez-Vous de l'Alliance!"

These discussions will take place in English, French, or a mix of the two depending on the speaker.

The first in this series will feature Amy Kirk Duvoisin, founder of the Krewe de Jeanne d'Arc Parade.

Joan of Arc Parade founder, Amy Kirk Duvoisin will discuss the relationship between the 13 year-old New Orleans parade held every year on Joan's birthday of January 6th and the 600 year-old OrlĂ©ans, France, parade, held each year on May 8th, and how this distinct commonality led to the 2018 New Orleans/OrlĂ©ans sister city agreement.

The discussion will take place on Zoom, in English on January 5th at 6:30. Register for the Zoom meeting via the button below.
