Family seeking Francophone Caregiver

for January 2024

We are seeking a long-term, French-speaking caregiver to help with our 4-month old baby and related light housekeeping. While we are somewhat flexible with the exact hours, our top priority is having 8-11 AM covered, although we’d welcome applications for earlier and later hours as well. The position will primarily be in our New Orleans home, where my husband and I both work during the day. The main responsibility will be the one-on-one care of our infant, plus associated tasks as time allows, such as preparing/cleaning bottles, keeping today the nursery and other rooms used, washing and putting up the baby’s clothes, etc. Professional references and proof of vaccines requested, as well as willingness to take a First Aid/CPR course if not already certified. Will pay competitive hourly rate. We are in the Carrolton area just off the Streetcar line. While not required, we would also be interested in hiring the same individual for occasional evenings or weekends, when convenient.

Do you need a PartTime french Nanny

starting in April/May/June?

Hello! 🌸 My name is Titilope! I am a young woman in my mid-20s from the Tri-State area. I enjoy nurturing children, being hospitable, and being a creative globe-trotter.

I have a BA in French & Francophone Studies and have lived in France on different occasions since I was 15. I speak French fluently and I’m an English native speaker. I also speak 3 other languages: Darija/Arabic (beginner), Spanish (intermediate), and Yoruba (native).

I am looking to move to NOLA in the next couple of months and would love to consider working with your family in caring for your child(ren) - no pets.

I have been caring for children as early as I could be home alone with other children. During my college days I babysat for families and tutored children in French. Post college, I was in the Versailles region of France as an au-pair caring for a young girl. In recent years, I have cared for new born twins, now my God children, taken their 2 year-old sister to school, and recently cared for my 9 month God daughter full-time for a couple of weeks due to an urgent family need.

I occasionally travel for business and manage the work needed for it virtually.

I would appreciate the opportunity to hear from your family and see if we might be a great fit for each other! My phone number is 973-776-4022. If I’m not able to respond to your call immediately, kindly leave me a text/voicemail.

 Best, Titilope O.
